The tour manager of the legendary musical band Rolling Stones, Mick Bridgen, has died in a tragic domestic accident. He suffered serious injuries while digging a grave for his dog in the garden of his California home.
For unknown reasons, the hole collapsed onto the man. The paramedics who came to the scene were unable to save his life.
The guitarist Joe Satriani confirmed the death of the legendary manager.
“It has been 33 crazy and wonderful years of rock & roll. I never worked so hard, played so hard, laughed and cried so much, made so much music and had so many adventures all over the world, and all with Mick by my side. He was the best mentor in the music business, “he declared.
For her part, Mick’s wife, Julia Dreyer Brigden, described him as “very organized” and “very good at his job.”
Born in 1947 in England, Bridgen moved to Canada at the age of 10. Throughout his prolific career, he collaborated with great rock stars such as Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana, and Van Morrison.
